Can a original P08 upper[DMW] be used on a new Mauser frame and function? Thanks

It can, but be aware, there can be feed/fire problem, what problems?? without seeing the gun on one can say for sure......but there are a lot of made up guns out there and working.

Hi,

It depends on what you see as a 'new Mauser frame'. The postwar Mauser Parabellum frame can be used, but needs some adjusting to function properly. The shape of the stop on the receiver bottom is square on a Mauser Parabellum and rounded on a prewar Mauser/DWM/Erfurt.

Also the Mauser Parabellum has a long frame.
