Default Costanza

Hi all...just got a copy of Costanza's book,( Boy..out of print books are high! ). A question to the members: If this is Volume 1, then did Costanza intend to write other volumes? If so, why didn't he?

I heard he felt he caught so much sh&t from the first one that he said the hell with it. Not that much wrong with it, but he didn't like the little bit of flak he got, same reasons I think for Reese and his books.

Send your e-mail to me, I made a word document for the corrections from this forum a couple of years ago.

Minor point ---

Costanza was George's neurotic family on Seinfeld; whereas the author is "Costanzo".

Here is an interesting link about a Sam and Jan in Ohio...may be the author and his wife.

Looks like he got busy with collecting and researching motorcycles.

Hi Bob,

This big WOL book was Sam's 2nd. book. He put out another smaller one about the AE lugers he theorized, probably incorrectly, were sold to German spies living in America around Hans Tauscher's time. Sam caught flak for this book and this theory as well.

I bought my copy of this smaller book about 1.5 years ago directly from Sam for only $ 15, new. I have seen them go for over $ 75 at gun shows, in used condition.

Pete, sometimes you being picky can appear a bit brazen to poor folks that frick up and post the wrong letter in their writing...

Ed,

Any pickiness(?) by Pete is all right by me. He was a most gracious guide at the NAPCA last Aug.

Thanks Ed and Pete,
Mike
