Navy 1906
Back in 1975 I sold a 1906 (blank chamber) Navy second issue # 6143, had unit markings just below grip safety , does anyone know of this Navy?
Thank You John |

A public welcome to the Lugerforum John... Most all of the prominent Navy Luger collectors in the world are members of this forum... if one of them has seen this gun, I am sure they will let you know here... but do you know if the serial number included a letter suffix? and was the chamber date 1906? or is that just the model. If it is not actual date, they may need some more information to be sure whether or not they have seen or handled it... if it is in the hands of a private collector, you may never find out where it is today... but good luck just the same...

John, There would be no chamber date. Those started in 1910 I believe. Interesting question on the suffix, I am not sure how many were made....Will have to look that up. Needle in a dozen haystacks...Jerry Burney
