Well, I've been haunting this sight for a few weeks now and I can finally say Ive joined the club. To many I'm sure its just a run of the mill 1938 s42 with a 70% +- finish, but for me, its the star of my small collection. It came with a nice 41 CDG holster with a name lightly scratched in it. I like to think that many years ago they were brought home by a vet, but I'll never know. Its definitely showing some honest wear, but its all matching and it has a bright bore. Now I just have to get up the nerve to shoot it!
Thanks, Gary ![]() |

Gary,
Welcome to the ward. Be sure to check the cornbread for Thorzine. ![]() Ya gotta start someplace. That's , IMO, a pretty good start. All in all, not a bad looking Luger. I have had a couple with someones SSN electro penciled on them, but didn't love them any less. Congratulations! Ron
