Default WOW! Lugerholsterrepair Quality!

Hi All,

I have had the pleasure of reading all the good things happy members have said about him and his work.

I must say this man is TOPS. His work is on par with the best custom holster makers I have seen.

He made me a p-08 /c-96 lanyard and repaired a LP-08 holster for me.

It was just like Christmas as I unwrapped the plastic bags and saw the Hi-QUALITY of his work!
I know what the holster looked like before and the tranformation it just SUPER!
The lanyard is a dead center repro. of the real one I saw at a big show.

The more I look at it the BETTER it is!

Thanks Jerry

If you need holster work done This is the man to do it.

Be well & safe,
broom

Thanks Gentlemen for the accolades. I do appreciate your kind words. I might also mention here the fine machining, tool and die work of my good Friend Frank (Broomhandle) We colaborated on a little project ( I talked Frank into it!) to make a machine to accurately fashion brass washers to attach the leather closure strap on Artillery stocks. This has always been a part that was hard to find.He made a magnificent die to do this and I now have the capability to make these washers just as the Germans did . They cannot be detected from originals. I applaud Frank for this great work! Thanks! Jerry Burney

HI Jerry,

I was glad to help you in some small way.

I feel my tool is like a hollowed out log canoe to your atomic submarine!
Hopefully I can get some other projects going soon.

Damm, I miss having a complete machine shop to work in.

But retirment is good.

Be well,
broom

Frank, We each have our specialties...I was impressed! I need to find time to do a little show and tell with it here on the Forum. I think a small few would be interested. Thanks again! Jerry Burney

Default Just a suggestion

I think your estimation of the level of interest is not on par with your handiwork Jerry. I think you need to create a gallery album showing before and after photos of your most accomplished efforts. Perhaps you even need your own website Holsterrepair.com!

I think limiting your efforts to just collectable luger holsters puts collectors of other "lesser" weapons at a tremendous disadvantage !

John, Thanks for your thoughts, I am almost never without a holster to repair or other projects to do such as Luger lanyards or double mag pouches.
I actually repair any holster pre 1945.
I am too busy to take before and after photo's and post them.
Word of mouth has always brought me as much business as a one man shop can do....
I just finished up a Baby Luger holster (my 5th) for Tom Armstrong. I would like to post photo's of it as it is a beautiful Army type hardshell.
Thanks, Jerry Burney
