George, do you know how many commerative carbines were made in the 1970's? Also is there a marking over the chamber, it's hard to tell from the picture.

I understand taht there were no more than two hundred and fifty made but it may have been fewer. Yes there is a marking over the chamber and it appears to be some sort of national crest but not one that I would readily recognize.
