Artillery Holster
I've become curious about the holster I got with my Frankenartillery pistol. I've been presuming that it is a repro, but I'll never know if I don't ask...
The marking, in case its not clear from the photo, is a stamped 1917 Q3 22. There are no other markings on the holster. It is obvoiusly not new, the leather is hard and dry, and the stitching is yellow with age, although in very good shape. It also obviously belongs on a board stock, the holster itself is just the pouch and clamshell. Amybody?? --Dwight http://boards.rennlist.com/upload/ArtyHolster2.jpg |

I don't know Dwight, so...
some feedback for both of us?
I bought an Artillery holster years ago (you can see it in owners corner) and it has NO markings. Is that unusual? On the other holster, it is pretty obvious. thanks and sorry if I added to your posting Dwight, :>) Ed |

Re:LPO8 holster markings
are spurious and the cross strap is either repro or a replacement. Tom h
