Default Parts, parts, parts?

Where have all the supposed 'millions' of parts, I've read about, gone? Some of stuff being offered.....and little at that.......looks like dumpster crap someone threw out. It's hard to believe that many 'parts guns' have been built. Most of the old major suppliers are 'zeroed' out. Perhaps there are more faked guns out there.

Bill, sure lots of faked guns using parts, esp a blank armorers magazine, folks love those and I am sure thousands have turned mismatched luger magazines into matched guns....

Then there are broken parts from shooting, worn out parts from use and dropping and hundreds of thousands of parts in peoples gun trove, home shop, gunsmiths, and etc.

Guys who deal in parts many times will part out a gun for the parts, I have done it a few times, but unless you get a gun cheap enough, its not worth it (to part it out).

I and many other collectors buy parts on ebay, gunbroker, here on the forums, etc.

You're about 25 years too late.
Many parts have been cycled and recycled and simply absorbed over the years.
The more breakable parts have been gone a long time.
I don't fire a lot of my stuff anymore for that reason.
Got lots of common pieces to shoot and not worry about.

I started when Lugers wer $25 or so, and parts were common-thise days long gone and they ain't coming back.
