Default I don't understand..

This problem has already been discussed here, but I really do not understand why one could be interested in this trommel mag. holster, 1915 dated, when the trommel has been officially approved on end 1916 (if I do not mistake) and given to the German soldiers in 1917...

Default Trommel Mag Holster

I have the same Holster with the 1915 date. It is a repro but very well made. Hope this helps.

ok, I have no doubt that this item is very well made ! but I would prefer it has a post 1916 stamp, it would be more credible ! Everybody knows that such a holster has NEVER been manufactured in 1915 ! ....

I agree Christian... this is a reproduction piece... and the wrong date just to what is WRONG.

What is TRUELY unbelievable is what this seller alludes to in his description..That one like this sold on Ebay for $1200 USD! He is right..I observed this not long ago.
Most of the collectors found here or on Jan's Forum are either advanced collectors... or like me, a student wanting to learn. People who pay big money for 1970's fantasy pieces like this are neither.
They have no knowledge and a lot of money.
