Default The only golden Mauser Parabellum

When Dr. Gminder joined Mauser as a sales executive, before becoming managing director of the Jagdwaffen branch, he worked hard to come up with sales aids and promotional ideas.

One of his ideas that didn't get far was the production of small sized golden cuff links in the shape of a Mauser Parabellum. The idea basically stranded because fashion had changed and the use of cuff links was a thing of the past in the German 1970s board rooms.

Only a few sets appear to have been made, one set together with the original die pattern, survived in his personal archive. I found a second set many years ago.

Reported in a letter from August Weiss, he stated that he received a set of golden Parabellum cuff links as a present from Dr. Gminder, so I am in good company as the owner

That is cool - send me the die, I'll do a wax copy, then make some more (okay, its something I have been trying to learn )
