1937 S/42
I see in a gun shop a vet bring back (notorised letter, no capture papers) S/42 1937 with strawed parts. The blue is 95%+ straw maybe 50-60%. It comes with an apparently unmarked (but old)holster with tool. The barrel has the serial number stamped on the underside but the third digit is not perfectly lined up with the others. Does that indicate a replacement? The numbers I could see all match. The magazine is un numbered. I think the finish is original but am not confident in my judgement. The price is $950. What think you all?

Here's one for sale that Pete posted. How does it rate against this one regarding condition and you'll have some idea if the $950 is a good value. FGS had one for sale not as nice as this one for more money. Tom |
