Thirty three years ago I was an eighteen year old PFC in RVN serving as a gunner on a combat engineer vehicle. The tank had three .50s and three M60s but as a dismount weapon I had an Ithaca Mod 37. I've been thinking about getting another lately for old times sake but never really ran across a military model nor had I looked for one. Few days ago I stopped in a local gun shop, took a left into the police shotgun section (I rarely go there) and there it was. Mod 37, parkerized, bead sight, 90%. It looks great on the wall with my other stuff from far away and long ago. Now if I could just remember and concentrate enough do you think that Australian stripper would appear?
