WOW Hugh,very very nice! I think you are getting better at all aspects of Luger reworks! your work is really first class. PS Remember make mine with a 3 & 1/4" Barrel and in 9mm. I like the removal of the lanyard staple and stock lug on this size weapon and the narrowing of the toggle. Did you bevel the front frame rails? Can't tell by the picture. Once again congrats, a real show piece! Ted

Hugh, Number 2 looks spectacular. I'll take one just like that. My stock lug and lanyard loop are already gone, so that'll save a little time. The proportions are very pleasing. The barrel size on #2 is my preference. Congratulations to both you and Minta (say Hi to her for me)

Ted;

Shortened grip and bbl, reduced width of toggle knobs, beveled front frame rails, removed lanyard loop and stock lug, and cussed a lot!

Frank,

The bbl on #2 will be the standard, I was experimenting on #1. Too bad you had to move to the end of the line

Default She is Beautiful! Patrick! Did you see this. It is an epidemic!

Do you fill the lanyard staple holes? or just remove the staple?

The rebirth of TWO Baby Lugers almost at the same time - and after all those years - certainly is astonishing. I´m experimenting with a 9 gramme (147 grain) bullet and anything up to 4 grains of Bullseye. I makes a very satisfying, loud noise and works the action best.

John,

I just ground it off, and after polishing and bluing you can hardly tell where the two legs go thru.
