Talking 1937 S/42 Strawed Parts?

Should a 1937 S/42 (serial number: 80xx) have strawed parts? Or, were some made with all blued parts? If the gun were arsenal reworked, would they have re-blued the strawed parts?

Many thanks

MM

Mike, if you are positive there is no script suffix as part of the serial number, then a so suffix block 1937 would be all blue (no strawed parts). The 1937 production started in the mid P-Block and continued past the Z-Block to the No Suffix, A-Block to the early B-Block. The best information that I have indicated the strawed parts were discontinued in the early T-Block. Hope this helps!

Secondly, if the pistol were reworked, I would think they would have blued all parts.
