As a horse rider and luger collecter I have had great results using saddle soap to clean and rejuvenate holsters...the leather comes clean,pliable and when buffed with a clean cotton cloth has a dull sheen that looks just right....

This is a controversial subject; recommend you check the archives for some highly informed material about the care and preservation of leather.
