Interested in potential value of this beautiful sidearm. SN is 6416C with matching 16 on sideplate and the rear of the slide block.
Has two stamps on the right side of the receiver and the little symbol that I think signifies it as a military luger. on the front end of the grip on the metal frame is the following: R.D.7.1.1. IX It is in great condition - no rust. I would be VERY interested in knowing what the previous numbers signify. |

It's probably a Reserve Dragoon Regiment but we need to see photos. The Roman numeral marking would usually be an army corps marking but photos are really needed.
