Correct finish..?

I have a LP08 in average shape and I think it has been reblued long time ago.
What's the correct finish for the upper side of the rear sight? Blue or polished in-the-white?

If you mean the part of the rear sight that has the metric range numbers marked on it, that part should not be blued; i.e., it should be polished in-the-white
