The latest issue of American Handgunner actually has an article about the Luger? That sounds like a must buy. They usually do have some great pics.

I just re-read the thread. The controversy was about the Luger almost beating out the 1911 Colt. It then digressed into the accuracy of the article and of gun magazine writers in general. It wasn't personally directed at anyone in particular. Maybe the whole discussion will ensue one more time (it has been a hell of a week and all).

Dean, I didn't blast you either, and went out and got a copy just to read the article. I found it interesting in spite of a few inaccuracies and enjoyed the pictures.
