For those still in search of one, I just came across this one.<br />

The photo is not clear enough to determine if the prongs are there
but based on the design of the tool, that must be the tool type.
The two prong type of tool is actually for fine adjustment of both front and rear sights on the artillery model. -JS |

Hi John,
I wish there was something to provide scale. That tool looks exactly like a Mauser M98 stock bolt removal tool. The Arty fine tune adjustment tool was just a small rod with two pins projecting from the end to turn it into a sight adjustment spanner. If I can find mine Iâ??ll scan it and post the scan. I have seen a couple of those; one has a knurled handle; the other has a cute little wooden handle. I don't know if the wooden handled one is factory or not but it is neat.
I certainly don't recognize this tool in the nice wood box. |

The more I look at the size of the shaft on this tool the more I think
That the tool is custom made and in a nice custom wooden box. I do agree that the tool looks like one used for model 98 mauser rifle actions, but may be a recessed head with the dual pins for dealing with the front and rear artillery sight adjustment screws. A recessed head would be less likely to slip off the screw during adjustments...

Mauro...to contact an ebay seller, you have to be a registered ebay 'user' and click on the "contact seller" link. Unless the seller wants to provide their email in the clear, that's the only way anymore.
BTW, I just placed an above average Navy holster with magazine pouch on ebay. Had I known, I could have posted it here, that might have been better. Next time I part with a good Luger item, I will try you folks first. George |

These tools I have seen before. I had bought a few about fifteen years ago in the Netherlands. I belive that the one an Ebay is of the same place. They look the same. Although I have never been able to find where they were made. Very nice tool. A great addition to any collection. Hope I have been some help.
