Post K-Date Magazine

I'm considering buying a K-Date Luger with a matching magazine and I'm wondering what the 0-37 magazine is suppose to looks like. I was told that K-Dates with a matching mag are very rare and I want to be sure it's correct. Does any one have an 0-37 magazine that they can post a picture of? Thanks for any help in this. Don

Don
Post the serial number of the K-date Luger and I might be able to give you some help.
The pistol should be (Normally) under 3500 to have the O-37 acceptance mark.
If the pistol is under 2300 there may be other considerations to determine it's originallity. Just another old Luger collector.

Well I figured out the serial number of 321. Thats a nice early pistol, hope it's in good condition. Check the lower spine of the magazine body and tell me what you see. If you see
a Block "H", I would like the looks of the magazine. However, get some other opinions on the size of the magazine numbers.

Once I found the serial number for your K-date, it rang a bell. Magazine number 321 was on the first Luger magazine list that I mailed out nearly twenty years ago. Therefore, if you buy the pistol, the second magazine is in the US and was reported to be in Newport beach, California in 1985. The registered owner has passed away so there is no way to track the magazine. According to my computer the magazine was absolutely correct. A listing in Gunlist , shotgun news and Auto-mag may help you find the second matching magazine. Good Luck

Hi Silvereagle29,

I think you may be confusing the pictures of my mag with the serial number of the K date that Don H is considering buying. He has not posted the serial number of that gun yet and has posted no pictures.

My 321 mag is likely the same you are referring to. I purchased it from the a fellow in Iowa who was the son of the gentlemen I believe you are referring to. I know that he lived in CA.

I also bought another S coded mag, several other miscellaneous mags, a G date P.08 with 2 matching mags that came with a 1935 military holster and a pressed paper P.08 police holster. Click on the link to see the holster, if you care to. I have links on that page to a couple of other paper items I have.

Hello Leon,
I have a K-Date magazine S/N 3219. Would you mind if I use your image and compare the first three digits with my magazine and then post the results?
