Post Deadly handguns

Last month I took a repro P08 holster to a saddle and boot repair shop for some clip pocket repair. The owner mentioned that as a Police Officer in his younger days, the deadlyest gunbattle he ever investigated was won with a German 9mm Luger, 4 guys pistol and revolver armed, attacking a man in his house over a drug deal, homeowner won with a P08. 3dead 1 severly shot. The next lethal investigation, a homeowner killed 2 and wounded 1, revolver and knife armed robbers with a Ruger single action .22 revolver. My leather repairman said Lugers were common on the street in the late sixtys. Maybe all the good P08's are gathering dust in Police evidence lockers.

Riffraff

FWIW I posted the above for the information of all. Kentucky does not destroy contraband weapons.
I don't know how many Lugers in this sale. The state server is down at present.

Ky. law also allows transfer of confiscated Class III items to persons qualified. As a last resort, they send them to (gulp) the BATF.
