Default Strawing again

Just some follow up on the strawing process. I used Wolfgang's suggestion of the aluminiun block to do the strawing and the parts came out looking good.

The next time I will machine the block out for each individual piece to assure that all the surfaces are equally touching the aluminium block. To get the eveness I wanted I had to turn the pieces on the block. I also will get a small electric hot plate as the wife didn't appreciate my using the front burner on the stove.

To quench the parts I used a clutch oil that we use in the clutches on the racing engines of Karts and Motorcycles. It is very light weigth and high temerature. I used to build racing engines and still do one occasionly.
