Markings on Erfurt 1917
Recently acquired an Erfurt marked 1917 Luger, serial number 2426k. The front of the receiver is milled off for the back of the artillery sight. Grips match. The ejector has crown over a letter on it!. The barrel, trigger guard, and back toggle link are marked with a crown the letter RC. I've not seen this marking before and wonder if anyone can tell me what it stands for?
