Help with Unit Mark
Asked about an Imperial unit mark on the grip of a 1915 DWM. Any help would be sincerely appreciated.

Sorry but an Infantry Regiment has 12 Companies and a possible MG Company. More possible Inf. Reg. 60, 6. Company

On page 63 of Jeff Noll's Addendum to "The Imperial German Regimental Marking" is a 1915 Luger serial number 4413d with the identical unit marking.
He translates it as "Infantry Regiment 60, Company 6". |
