I've got one of those mis matched broomhandle probably imported as a barrel of parts from China and cobbled together into a pistol. this thing has been bored to 9mm and it does shoot 9mm fine but the barrel seems awfully thin. can the barrel be put back to 7.63 with a liner? jim

It certainly can be done. Just make sure you're OK with the cost/benefit, since this seems to be a mix-master. Those who've had it done can tell us how much it costs and the best place to have it done, I hope. Conversion to 9mm seems to have been common, so concern about the thinner barrel walls that result is probably not greatly warranted.

What Norm said, why pay $$ to have it changed to a caliber that costs more to shoot?
Someone paid already to have it bored to 9mm!
