Post US Test Eagle # 6881 At Butterfield's Auction...

This US Test Eagle is up on auction on 6-30-03 at Butterfield's in SF, CA...

It does have one of those "marble bead' front sights, but otherwise looked very nice. Straw on the thumb safety lever is a bit brighter that the rest of the straw; might be a restraw on this part. Only the left side of the pistol was visible during the preview display...

I went to the preview day, today..

The only other luger is a fair reblued and rebarrelled 1914 DWM that will open at $ 300.00...for those chasing a cheap shooter...
