A must for any luger collector and for over 65 years by the late Fred Datig! It is my finest investment! "The Luger Pistol, 1955 https://www.amazon.com/Luger-pistol-...=UTF8&me=&qid= Eric

Datig's book is great considering the time it was written. Today there are so many up to date books that this one is more of a collector item than a reference. I own this book but rarely if ever use it. When I started luger collecting 50+ years ago this was the luger Bible. As we learn more, reference books change. Not a bad thing because they all lead to a better understanding of lugers. Bill

I would agree! Considering it was written decades ago, it lends a historical perspective at that time! Each plays its' own part in the luger story! Good history never grows old!!! Tks
