Default Police find hidden trove of Nazi artifacts in Argentina including P-08s!

In the video there are multiple presentation Lugers in display cases!

At the 3:09 mark two P-08s are seen in the background and and a close up of one at the 3:25 mark, followed by multiple views from the 4:59 till the end of video mark!

Can you imagine what all that would bring on Ebay?

This is mostly locally produced "fantasy crap". Very few of the prominent "Nazi artefacts" shown are pre 1945.

I doubt that stuff is illegal in Argentina- well maybe the pistols.

Why were they looking?

I agree , a lot looks like fantasy junque to me.

NAZI propaganda articles appear to be illegal in Argentina, the man in the video said so.

Articles- as in written articles? or objects?
Implying that the owner was spreading "Nazi" propaganda?
Thanks.

Gee Don, if he had them in a hidden room, would be hard to say he was spreading
propaganda. I wouldn't mine having one of those silver hourglasses.

None of it makes sense, must be more to the story.
Why would" they" be in or know of a "hidden" room?

Kind of like those "arsenals" in homes "they" find from time to time- the owner had to be doing something else to come to the attention of the authorities.

Here's another write on the story:

https://www.jta.org/2017/06/20/news-...-investigators

Apparently the objects will be donated to a Holocost museum in Argentina.

There were antiquity objects found in the cache. The discovery was related to an Interpol program on trafficking in illicit objects called "Operation Far East":

https://www.interpol.int/Crime-areas...ing/Operations

BTW, the hidden room apparently had an exterior window...

There were stories of submarines carrying 3rd Reich officials and treasure to Argentina's coast at the end of the war. I suppose that the only way to authenticate this stuff would be contemporary photographs showing objects.

Thanks.
Both. Anything bearing a Swastika will get generally frowned upon. At least this side of the big pond. I don't like the NAZIS, not even those you call "liberals" in the States. But I also dislike "Historic revisionism". Hiding things won't make them go away, some people seem to think so. Like some of those "liberals".

Edit. Skating on thin ice right now.

Thanks Marc,
typical media hype and BS, a "hidden" room with a window- what will they think of next.

Nazi's were welcome in Argentina at one time- I don't know when that policy ended- but there is probably a lot of genuine stuff really "hidden" there.

You gotta rent the Johnny Depp film "Secret Window".

Depp should have gotten at least an Oscar nomination for it.

But no Nazis...and no Lugers...
