That's a nice looking bike. Its nice to see a new model that doesn't either look like a rat bike or a ninja!

Congrats on getting yourself one! I am not familiar with the new "Kows", but I fondly recall my 1969 Kow 500 three cylinder, two stroker that I had back then. As I recall it was the quickest production bike at the time.

A tribute to the original "KZ900".
I would like to see more standards, without the plastic coverings, come out. This bike, with a small fly screen for Florida, would be awesome! |

I rode a friends Kawasaki 3 cylinder at KU in 1972, and it was a little rocket!!! With a two cycle, it has over 1 power stroke per revolution. I tooled around Texas & Kansas on my Jawa 350 2 cycle, a bit slower.

Here is a 1969 photo of me and my Kaw 500 that I dug up and wanted to share. I wonder where that bike is now?

Only pictures I have of my old 900 were taken in 1986 shortly before I traded it away for something a whole lot faster and safer. That's me having coffe on the left.

I never had a 900. Had a little Kz650. I had the big Yamaha's and Suzuki's. The one model I miss was the GS1100E.

Had a Suzuki 1100. But it was a GSXR, traded the 900 for one in 1989. Has I said a whole lot faster and a whole lot safer.
