there were two flag raising, and there was a huge push to get war bonds and a positive from a very tough and long battle. Very crazy times
Very possible why John Bradley was so adamant about not talking about it, either he knew or felt the truth. In addition, there were maybe a dozen folks up there with them, they risked as much danger as the flag raisers. Interesting turns in history... |
