Looking at a somewhat different looking 1940 Mauser P-08. Seems like two sets,of part numbers , Ejector is in white metal. How can I positively tell a reblue? I will post pics shortly.

Positively telling a good reblue can be difficult. If proper things are in the white, i.e. bluing not done or removed by a refinisher, it can make it harder.
Obvious things are bangs or scratches with bluing in them, or parts that should not be blued are, or light acceptance / proofs... |

I'm not concerned about the finish of the gun or the finish of the ejector. That is an un- numbered part anyway, but it seems like most were fire-blued.
If it is mismatched, things like finish originality don't matter all that much anyway. dju |

It is not all matching. Slide ,barrel, frame and many small parts ARE matching. I do care if the finish is original or not. I guess I am going take it apart and look for clues.

Difficult to tell from those pictures, would you post some close up photos taken from other angles?
