Default 1916 in-the-wall Luger

Gentlemen,

I want to share this story with you.

This Luger was found inside the wall of an old WW2 German barrack when the father of a friend tore it down on his property. Family lore has it that some German hid this, as well as a small-caliber pistol (which I haven't seen yet), inside the wall when they surrendered on May 8th 1945. Sadly, the family decided to have it de-activated some years ago. I'm doing a little cleaning on it these days.

Serial number 4442g, two un-numbered fxo (Eagle 37) magazines, nice 1938 holster by O. Reichel in Lengefeld.

Edit: Couldn't get the picture upload to work, had to use Photobucket
