Double date 1920/1921 DWM all matching with two matching mags. tool and holster The seller wants 2400.00 and thinks its a police rework with some unit markings on it I have no pictures just wondering if these pistols are worth that kind of money The clips have alum. bottoms but match pistol Is it a fair price if in 80% or let it go John

$2400 for 80% 1921 w/1920 stamp w/2 police mags?
Ripoff Alert!! You have not said what the holster and tool look like so who knows what they are, but they could be repro or trash (and not worth that much even if authentic). BTW - that gun should probably be priced about the same as a nice shooter.

I don't live in the USA but I think it's a bit too much!

You would need a lot of pics-especially the mags.
That's a lot of money, but potentially a decent rig. I'd have to want it awfully bad to pay that. Is the mag safety intact? Sear safety OK? Worth a heck of a lot more than a common shooter. |

There are several members here who specialize in Police guns, so I hope to hear from them. But that is a smaller niche than Lugers in general, so unless you are particularly interested in Police Lugers, take your money and keep looking. You can get one heck of a nice wartime gun for that money. Or one collectable and one shooter...

I guess the holster is a 1934 ROBERT LARSEN BERUN with the serial number of the gun stamped on it and the tool has the serial number on it there two drop wing eagle proofs with some sort of marks below them and some sort of small eagle proof with some markings below it the unit markings on the front grip are xxxx out. He only sent 3 pictures says he got it from Vet. who brought it home There is a six sided proof stamped on holster with lots of rays in it best I can do for know John

Without close and detailed pictures of the item it's practically impossible to assert anything.

Sounds like a nice, complete Police Rig, but not worth anywhere near the asking price. This, for me, is a $1,500 rig, if correct, tops.
