Default 1939 Luger pickup

Picked this up from a forum member. Mag is marked E63 non match but the gun other then one small ding on the toggle is in 95% condition. Grips and all parts match. Mag is in excellent condition. I know some purists will say the ding makes it a non collectable but not for me.

Man, if that ding makes it a "non-collectible" then I need to find another hobby.

Great luger ding or no ding. They were after all used in a war. Bill

I concur - a ding doesn't make a gun not collectible, especially any wartime gun. Now if it was covered in rust and pitted, that would be a diff story (LOL)!

Nice gun.

Very nice Luger! To me those little usage marks add character. Pristine is nice but so is the been used for what I was made for look as well.

Thanks. I also love a gun or any wartime thing that has the used look.

I would have no trouble owning that Luger. When a wartime Luger is flawless, a red flag goes up for me.
