I have a 1914 dated1914 all matching #s ,have looked at 1000s of pics of same. sn is 21xx no letters. It has W.v. M engraved on the left side of the frame below the toggle. no others or pics.look at have this. anybody know.

Just a swag, but I would say initials of a previous owner, possibly of noble birth, (the small v may denote "von").
Think Wilhelm von Maltzham or something similar. |
