This pistol showed up for sale on the local gun board.
"Nazi Germany world war ll hungarian war .32 acp for sale or trade" I think it's a Femaru. Never heard of it before Google. Is it worth buying and what's it worth? Thanks Matt |

There is a local C&R shop, I saw one like this over there back a few years ago. It's a Hungarian WWII pistol if I remembered right. He asked a few hundred dollars, but sorry I cannot remember the exact number.... might be $650, matching, with better blue. That's at least 3 years ago, I could be wrong on memory.

Hungarian Model 1937 in 7.65mm/.32 ACP. Issued in large numbers to the Luftwaffe. Markings on slide and waffenampts denote manufacture under German supervision. I think the "jhv 41" is the most common variety of this pistol...
The example pictured should bring $375 - $450 at most, given the finish wear and relative non-rarity. Would make a good shooter example or "placeholder" in a WW2 German .32cal collection, I should think!. |
