Here is a picture of both sides of the front sight on my 1900 commercial. As you can see, it is made integral with the barrel. It has not been pinned or soldered on. Has anyone ever seen another Luger front sight made like this? This barrel is original to the gun.

Hugh, I had something similar, but much lower, on a 20 commerical. It had a slot for the front sight blade running from front to back, rather side to side. I expect both are some sort of gunsmith repair. You're welcome to my used 7.65mm barrel, which I removed, with sight for $15 post paid, if you want to pursue this quest. Tom h.

This is not a "Polish Target Lugerski".
