Talking Merry Christmas 2013

Wishing all a very wonderful holiday with family and loved ones, or your Lugers.

As Jimmy Stewart said in It's a Wonderful Life, “Every time a bell rings… an Angel get its Wings!!”

But Ralphie!!! You'll shoot your eye out!!!

Merry Christmas!!!

For those not familiar with him, Jean Shepherd was a prolific writer and radio personality that grew up in Hammond, Indiana near Chicago in the 1920's and 1930's.

This movie was based on several of his short stories, which were based on some of his personal stories embellished and told on the radio.

He served in the signal corps in WW-II and was heard on radio in Cincinnati, Philadelphia and New York. In many ways, he was the 20th century's Mark Twain.

Many of his broadcasts on WOR can be downloaded from Archive.org.

I've got a longish "wish list" too, but this year I've been naughty...

Anyway, although we're are quite in time, I wish a Merry Christmas to all of you and to your Families.

Sergio

May the spirit of Christmas find you and your loved ones together, and for those whom can't may they be fond in your memories.

"God Bless Us Every One!" ... (from Tiny Tim -in "A Christmas Carol")...

Merry Christmas Everyone! I hope you all can take the time to reflect on the Reason for the Season...

John 3:16... & Luke 2:1-20 Take the time to read these scriptures to your family... and yourself.
