If its really a "G" date and all matching, I would offer around $350 and then send it to Thor for restoration.

Without seeing the inside or any other views, I wouldn't even go that high.

I am guessing from the amounts of "good" blue that this is an example of poor storage and not some full immersion or battlefield dug basket case. Because of that, I'm guessing that the interior is in much better shape than the outside of the pistol. As you suggest, I would still want other views of the gun and I would ask for a 3 day inspection.

has slight rust around the body. I have done a couple of these I had to beat apart with a hammer they were so rusted up. Both are now excellent shooters. I would hesitate to give $500 even $300 is pushing it IMO. I did all my own work..disassembly and rust removal. One I just left it in the white. No sense going to the expense of a good rust blue with all that pitting. Just oil it often and store it properly. Shoot the hell out of it. By the time you pay $500 and get it blued you will have too much in it..it will still be pitted and re blued. Find a better finished pistol with no problems for $800-1000

armslist.com is a jungle. I visited the site once, and noticed "wow, the asking price is so modest". A few pistols really looked nice and attracted me.... attractive, until I saw *my* pistol was also listed by someone at very deep discount ... the guy moved pictures there asking $$, obviously, he would not deliver. Who did this? no idea, but be aware. Later, I noticed many other similar examples.

I'm not an expert but it looks looks like you would have to get a barrel and maybe some new parts for this. you should have the seller e-mail you some more pics of the pistol taken apart for more study and what needs to be repaired/replaced.
