I just received back from Tom Heller my LP08 upper half. This is to the all matching LP08 that I cracked the upper receiver on last fall. Tom fitted a 1920 commercial upper receiver to my barrel and had it blued to match. It is a snug fit on my frame, but it goes together. I fired 50 rounds through it today with no jams. My best group was a
1 3/4" ragged hole at 25 yards. I was using reloads made on my new Dillon 550B. 115 grn copper coated bullet and 5 grns of Unique. This would lock open the action with 4 of the 5 magazines I was using. Tom was also able to supply me with a hammer for my Star Mdl B, and a brand new magazine for my Star Mdl S. Best Regards, Mike Halbrook |
