Default 2005 American Pistolsmiths Guild Baby Luger

Hard to believe it has been 7 years since this beauty was raffled off in the American Handgunner Magazine. A whole team of Luger forum gunsmiths worked on it:
1.Hub-Neil Keller of Kustom Ballistics put the gun together, shortened barrel and shortened frame in grip area
2. Brian Powley of Brian Powley Engravers did the beautiful engraving and gold inlays.
3. GT of GT Specialties made the mag bottoms and completed the magazines.
4. Hugh Clark made the grips, wow!
5. Les Center of Center Custom Cases made a beautiful case for the entire gun and accessories.
6. I did the rust bluing, strawing, fire bluing, and rest of finish work.
Featured in the March/April Addition of the American Handgunner magazine.

Absolutely breathtaking creation by real masters. A couple of questions. It appears that the grip screws and the mag release have been fire blued. Any other parts? Also, the extractor appears to have been strawed, or is it in the white? I had never seen these photos before and have saved them in my "beautiful stuff" directory of guns.

Looks like Hub told us this back then, I have no way of knowing the name or any subsequent owners.
Just an up date on the Baby Luger that the American Pistolsmith Guild had as a raffle gun for 2005. It was won by a gentleman from NJ and if we get permission the name will be posted at the Guilds web site. The gentleman is a bachelor and in speaking with him it is very likely the the gun will end up in a museum such as NRA's or if any of you have a better place please speak up. I already have mentioned my home place so get in line. Thanks again to all the Forum members that helped with the project and those purchasing tickets. Maybe we can do another one in a couple of years. It is a Browning Hi-Powqer for 2006.

Yep fire blued, strawed stuff, just a little poetic license they allowed me. Like one time I did this muticolor ejector, just for fun. The Luger was finished in the white with this ejector, it was later returned for a standard straw colored ejector and rust blued finish. I do think it looked better in the end.
