Default John Martz P38 45 cal

I looked a one of john's p38 conversions today. It was a beautiful gun in brushed silver standard length. Didn't look like it had been shot much if at all. I would say the condition would be around 95% with two mags. What do you think the value would be on one of these? The Guy was asking $3000 Which I thought was a little high myself.
Thanks for the help,
Jared

For a one-of-a-kind 45 cal P-38??? Sounds reasonable to me...

Don't know P38. But most of them are a few hundred dollars, so I guess $3000 could buy a rare P38 variation, or at least a scarce variation? "One of a kind" is hard to say. In theory, you can buy it at this price, the world is so big, there must be at least another guy with similar interest. But the interesting party must be very specific and very small. My 0.02 on this one is negative. I think non-factory caliber is similar to non-factory engraving.

If John Martz was charging $15,000 or so for a .45 Luger, I think $3,000 for a P38 conversion is a bargain!
