Default Missing bolt hold open

I am not sure if my Luger did not have it installed or if it was lost later. Anyone sell these?

I do have new blued repro PO8 locking bolts available @$50 + $5 S&H. You also might check to see if you also need the LB spring, which holds it into the frame. Th

Tom, he is talking about the hold open for a 1900, not the locking bolt.

Did 1900's even have hold opens?

Yes. Lugers had a hold open from the beginning. It was just eliminated for the 1908 Army contract but returned in 1913.

Well, installed the one I got off of LugerDoc. Seemed to function correctly when hand cycled with an empty magazine. It does sometimes stick and can not get the bolt released and you have to tweak it with a tool to release again. Might be a wear in issue. Will try to take it to the range and test it there with a few rounds. The gun is complete now, no missing parts.

Ed, As I keep saying: Not all luger parts are interchangable. Some minor fitting may be required. Thanks, Tom

Seemed to fit OK, Lugerdoc. Looks more like a wear in issue as it works correctly part of the time. Will play with it more and adjust/fit as necessary.
