finally joined the P08 club

Have been eyeing a 41' P08 for some time now...finally followed me home Friday night. sorry no pix yet, but here are the particulars:

41 byf
Matching 4824
Cursive below 4digit forward of trigger guard appears to be a L...review of forums doesn' seem to support this though...

Alum mag marked 6928, cursive, cross, proof mark, 1 at top, mag is not marked P08 on anything else.

I bought the gun, not the story. Brown plastic grips.

Welcome as well... and show us the photos. If the grips are original Luger production grips and brown in color, (instead of modern replacement brown plastic grips), they may actually be Krieghoff Luger grips and may be worth as much as the pistol (to a Krieghoff collector) if in real good shape. We look forward to seeing the photos.

Congratulations on your first one! I just joined here because I plan on getting my first Luger this year. The more I learn, the more I realize I need to learn more!
