I SAW A 1923 COMMERCIAL "SAFE & LOADED" AT THE GUN SHOW IN KANSAS CITY LAST WEEKEND. IT WAS UNIQUE IN THAT THE FRONT OF THE MUZZLE SCREWED OFF AND A SILENCER COULD BE FITTED TO IT. ANYONE KNOW MUCH ABOUT THESE, AND THEIR HISTORY/VALUE. IT LOOKED NEAT!

Is this what it looked like Timothy? Take special note of the spring loaded device behind the rear sight. If so, Check out the Luger Centerfold for July of last year. It's too bad that the story that was posted with it is not currently available on the forum website, or at least my quick look didn't reveal it's location. Maybe if Dok gets some spare time, he could resurrect the story pages that were posted with each of the centerfold photos.

I've been thinking about doing that, but I have so little time these days it just slips to the bottom of the pile. I have all the stories for each gun... maybe someday...

Yes, exactly the same, identical to the one in Kenyon's book. The dealer showed me. Any idea of it's value?
