Luger gurus,
This is my first post and I hope it's not a repost from somewhere else but at about 35 pages into this forum I just couldn't click any more ![]() I bought a 1915 DWM luger at a gun show last weekend. It's all matching except for the magazine and when I took the grips off I noticed something that might be odd... The grips are completely unmarked. I understood that there were usually two digit serials stamped on the wood. The color of the checkered wood is very dark and wear patterns are consistent with what I would expect for a 1915 pistol. Can anyone shed light on this for me? I'll post pics if you'd like but I can't photograph a marking that isn't there ![]() Respectfully, David |
