Lazy Crown N

I need a little help from you guys. I looked at a Luger for a friend of a friend and I have some questions.

The pistol is a Weimar rework of an early Erfurt Luger into a Commercial 9mmP pistol. The curiosity of this are is the Proof Stamp. The Proof Stamp is on the right receiver in the "Lazy" or horizontal position, and also stamped the same on the breechblocl and the middle toggle link. On the middle toggle link, it is on the right side of the toggle. the stamp on the barrel has the Crown pointing toward the muzzle in the normal fashion.

Another puzzle is on the underside of the barrel. The bore dia of "8,8" is there with the commercial C/N above it, but just to the right of the "8,8" is a stamp that is not fully struck. It appears to be maybe "m/m" ( maybe for millimeter of bore dia), and it also appears to be a partially struck Proof Stamp from the 1930-1933 period. This stamp is shown as Number 38 under Technical Information section. Since the stamp is only partially struck, there is no way to determine which it actually is.

This pistol rig was brought back from WWII and basically untouched since them. I have the pistol to clean for the gentleman and he wanted to know a little more about it. Any help would be appreciated.
