Default All I want for Xmas is...

...an AUSTRIAN M-1898 RAST & GASSER REVOLVER...

http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...Item=194479939

I looked at one of these about 15 years ago at a local gun show...for $75...

Despite the severe grip angle, it was actually very instinctive to aim...

I almost bought a Johnson Rifle back when I was collecting Garands and Carbines. I bought another Garand instead.

Different slang in different parts of the country...

I only know what a Johnson is from watching CSI on TV...

the gunman = If you have to say that it's pricey, then I know I can't afford it...

Well, don't make me wait 35 years to know it...

If he can't publish it in this thread so that my 9 year old grandson can read it and not have to ask me what it means, then he will have to PM you the answer...

Remember that what we discuss in this particular forum doesn't necessarily have to be related to Lugers...but if it isn't, then it better be clean enough that questions from the younger Luger enthusiast crowd don't get embarrassing.

I had the unpleasant task of permanently banning a relatively new member today for uncalled-for behavior and language... I can count the number of people that I have personally banned in over 10 years on just one hand... and I want to keep it that way... so tread carefully guys.

It's a very pretty 20-something nurse who acts a lot more severe than she really is...

I was standing at the Broad St bus stop one afternoon waiting for the bus when she stopped at the traffic light...She spotted me and rolled down her window and asked if I wanted a ride...I declined, as I liked the buses, subway, and electric trams I needed to connect to for my destination...A foreign car dealer where I bought a 1959 Austin-Healey 100-6 for $1300...Which the Marine MPs let me park in the doctors parking lot...

Understood, Sir.
By no means, I would like to have inappropriated texts published here. I act as a Mod on a local militaria forum and I've been walking in your shoes for a while.

Besides that, Postino, made it clear enough!

All the best,

Douglas
