In going through my mag collection, I found an oddball.
Brown plastic unmarked bottom, silvery mag body, and at the base of the mag spine is a script "P". What is this one please? It's in great shape. Sorry, no pics.

It sounds like you have a Swiss made magazine. The brown plastic knob should be held in the magazine body with two (2) pins. Generally a well made reliable magazine.
It is good to see your name in the Forum again. Dick |

Agree with Dick, Swiss,
Very well made and great for shooting, although brown is less common than the black, so worth a bit more... ed

I think this is for the 06/29 Swiss (Waffenfabrik Bern). The front grip strap is straight and had either red or brown plastic grips, and a matching plastic bottom mag.

Thank you very much gentlemen!
It is quite minty, but I don't have that model of Swiss in my collection, so I may offer it for sale or trade. Any idea of value? I have been off the boards since April, as I had a stroke which took out my right side motor function. Left my cognitive processes alone, thank goodness, but I am wheelchair bound although making progress towards recovery. I promise not to ramble mindlessly, lol, still as sharp, (or not), as ever. Thanks again!

Hi Anna, you can get them fairly easy on GB and at gun shows... they are not rare, and most are in excellent to new shape.. They may be considered a sleeper, as the quality is top shelf... I think better then the fxo's for function... Anyway, anywhere from $75 to $125 is fair... if a really unusual look, as to bottom color.. I think red is the most valuable... then maybe $25 to $50 more... ?? Best to you, til...lat'r...GT

Thanks, that's good to know.
I will keep it for a shooter I suppose, and save any wear or droppage on the fxo's. I gave my MecGar mags to my husband, along with a half dozen or so shooter Lugers, back when I first got the collection, as he goes to the range a lot. Hopefully I can go shooting again some day.
