I'm not new to the thread concept from dealing with restoring an old police car, but I'm new to the forum so be easy on me. I have a luger that my dad brought over from WW11. It's not for sale and not worth a lot anyway. I like it and would like more info on it if I can. It has the original holster, with tear down tool, two clips, yet one clip is missing the base. It has been described as a German military reciver proof found only on the 1908 commercial/ military variation. My father was assigned in France as a Sargent responsible for assessment and reassignment of equipment. The gun was found and kept after one of those assignments. More info later if needed. Thanks in advance for any help.

Tim,
We can't tell you anything without pictures and/or a better description. Look at some of the posts with pictures, or better yet peruse the albums. FN |

Tim, welcome to the forum.
We need serial number; markings, stock lug, color, pictures would help. almost 3 million lugers were made, so it could be many variations Ed
